    o0o Lycos.com is lookin' right. :D

When did Lycos get its makeover? Finally looks good now. :D I remember back in the day, a good amount of people used Lycos search engine. I don't think anybody does anymore...in fact I haven't heard anything about it in a long, long time.

Oh well, it's search results aren't half-bad. Maybe I'll try to use it more often. :D:D

I stumbled upon lycos a couple weeks ago and thought it looked great. Before that I hadnt been to it in years. You used to be able to download MP3s for free on lycos. This was before the napster days when it wasnt a big problem.

I never liked lycos because they used to have a lot of ties to spyware and shady companies. I'll check it out, but I'm not sure I would ever use it again.

Lycos is a waste of time, nobody uses/cares about it anymore.

Yeah when i first got on the web, about 1996 or so, Lycos was
actually one of the biggest engines on the web, along with excite, webcrawler, magellen, infoseek and altavista. Compared to those others it rarely sent visitors to your site, however. It seemed to want it's own sites to always come up at the top and everybody elses below them. Some speculated that is the reason the site more or less died.
