LVM over ISCSI

I am looking at getting a dedicated server with a lot of ISCSI storage and was wondering if it would work to partition those ISCSI disks as LVM on the client side to create one larger volume. What potential issues am I inviting with this? I have run into issues with similar setups before but that was mixing local and ISCSI disks. The OS is Centos 5.5/5.6 (not sure which).

    Thanks.

Normally you will not encountered any problem with LVM usage.
