Lukads, an introduction.

Well, how many people here are using Lukads? What's the revenue like?

 

Hi. I have a career choice test web site and I would like to receive advertisements from employers offering jobs, recruitment agencies, that sort of thing. Do you have many advertisers in that area?

We do, but they're targetted only to the US, so only visitors from the US would get to see it.

 

So, on if I put your ad on my index page, US readers will see it and there will be a white blur for Brits, Aussies, etc or just nothing showing? If the latter, it's not a big problem.

 

The house advertisement will be shown instead for all non-US visitors.

 

Thanks for that, but what exactly is the house advertisement and what are the effects of it being clicked?

No we don't pay you for clicks or impressions of house ads.

 

But if your ads are only from American organisations, what is the point of non-US visitors coming to your site. Couldn't I have it as a simple no-show when the page is visited by non-US people?

 

No our ads aren't only from American organisations, it's just that the ads that match the content of your site have a geotargetting filter of the US. Other ads that target other places.

 

I've registered but can't find a contact method on the publisher's site, hence asking here. I've added an advert, but it appears to be a Google Ad. Can you explain this?

I took a look at your sourcecode, and I can't find the lukads code in it. Are you sure you saved your file or something alike?

Well, I'm viewing it from the UK and I'm seeing a Google ad, something to do with a career personality test.

 

It's definitely not your location. It didn't show up correectly for me as well the first time, but after a few refreshes it did, that's all I can suggest you to do.

 

ok. seems to be working now. is there any way that can I tell what my Lukad ad is showing in USA, when I'm viewing from outside?

 

Certainly, go to 'My Zones' and under Manage pick 'Active Ads'.

 

As publisher one may now self set a minimum amount to be paid out.
This threshold can be changed in 'Manage Account' under 'Payment Details'.
Payments still happen at the end of each month, currently only with paypal.

At our statistics page you can now see what you can earn at most per click or per 1000 impressions.
Note that these are the highest recorded prices for one single advertisement, and that we have zonesizes available that can hold up to 4 advertisements without requiring the visitors to press on the next button. This means that in the most optimal case you can earn 4x as much as the statistics page tells you.

 

I joined lukads mora then 24h ago and it keeps showing house ads only. When will the actual ads start to show?

 

Ads are normally placed within an hour. May I remind you that if ads have certain geotargetting you might not be able to see them, even though they are there.
It may also be so that one page contains ads and another doesn't, because we display ads based on the content of every single page.
