Lucid dreaming is dreaming while in a waking state of mind. This is awesome because one can experience the trippy world of dreaming with the eyes of the lucid self. And, the greatest part is that at some level, the brain can be trained to act on these dreams, meaning we can do fantastic things which cannot be done in real life, lucidly, in the 'dream world'... like flying. Aren't you interested in this? I just read about it a few days ago and I'm like... wow. Of course exercising the mind into having lucid dreams is a long process, but I guess it's worth it.
yeah i was very interested in the subject a while back. theres many ways to induce lucid dreaming but its really hard, after trying for a while i only able to do it once. the reason its hard is cause it involves realizing you are asleep while dreaming which most of the time wakes you up, its hard to control this. The one time i successfuluy did it, it only lasted a few seconds, i was having a nightmare in which people were chasing after me and it got to the point where they had surrounded me then i realized it was a dream and just thuoght about them going away and they disappeared..after doing that i got excited and woke up tho...so its possible to do it but very hard.
I've been interested in learning lucid dreaming for some time, but have never gotten far with it. Every time I realize I'm dreaming, it takes just a very short while until I wake up, and within the short time I've "taken over" the dream, I've never been able to make things happen the way I want them to. I guess it takes tons of practice...
