Official US Gov't Terrorism Manual http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/021597.html http://wikileaks.org/wiki/How_to_train_death_squads_and_quash_revolutions_from_San_Salvador_to_you Excerpt This is amazing stuff. You can find the actual document here http://wikileaks.org/wiki/US_Special_Forces_counter-insurgency_manual_FM_31-20-3 for download in case you want to setup your own death squad. Anyone want to make the case that this is the right way to make the world safe for democracy?
Great links Guerilla. I was first alerted to this kind of stuff when i was in college reading proutys book the secret team. Thanks also to the freedom of information act. I wonder how the american people would feel if they knew this kind of stuff is still happening.
Why should I try when you've already put me on ignore for making good points against some of your other anti-american propaganda?
Since when is posting the truth being antiamerican. I have been called antiamerican for posting facts about how we destroyed democracy in iran in the 1950's and pro zionist for posting about my views on hezbolla starting the 2006 war with isreal. I have never seen guerilla post anything antiamerican, Maybe anti elite and anti military industrial complex but never anti american. What i think is anti american is ignorance and flag waving.
Because he doesn't post facts that don't coincide with his agenda to wage an info war against and bring down the evil super power. If all of your "facts" are one-sided and their intent seems to be always to show how evil a particular entity is(in this case the US) then it is reasonable to see it as crusade that is antithetical to that entity. I've not seen one instance when something good was pointed out about the US and guerilla agreed or didn't find a way to twist it to try to prove how sinister we are as a nation. I've seen this mentioned on here several times and have never seen the UK's involvement mentioned. Operation Ajax was actually proposed and pushed by the UK. Is it just not as popular or fun to spend every waking hour criticizing the UK?
WOW!!! Then again why am I not surprised? Some of us who are critical of our government's policies have been called all sorts of names. How can anyone read this stuff and not feel like puking is beyond me.
Right, he is one of those special people who loves America so much it is his duty to tear it down at every opportunity. He has called every President for the last 20 years a war criminal. He accuses anyone who supported Clinton of supporting the murder of 500,000 iraqi kids. He admits he is a Republican but he takes no responsibility for all the disastrous policies his party has foisted upon America. He can't have it both ways. In short, if he can view something in a negative light to America he does so. He goes out of his way to put the worst spin, the worst intentions, the worst of everything on actions by America. On the other hand, he dismisses reasonable, rational, and logical reasons for those same actions. I post many articles critical of my country and my government. This is not simply about that. The difference is how we view and speak about the US government. Guerilla views America as bad any good it does as an aberration. I view America as good and any bad it does as the aberration. Compounding this view is that guerilla will never talk about anything positive about America and appears to relish in his negative views of America.
Things that need to be changed need 'criticism' last I checked slaps on the ass do little to help the country.
Paul was the only man that could have saved America from the disaster that it is heading towards but he was completely ignored by the controlled mainstream media that support scumbags like Bush, Cheney, Clinton, Obama and all the other scum that are only looking out for themselves and not the American people.
Of which I find extremely refreshing, you are not one of those who can not see mistakes being made that need to be corrected. You have open eyes on many things, even if I may not always agree with you
I like to think I'm one of those too. I don't want to be seen as a mindless flag waver who thinks that anyone who criticizes our government is not a patriot. Criticism is essential. I could reiterate why I think guerilla's and some others' posts are not merely honest, thoughtful criticisms, but browntwn already put it much better than I could.
We all have our views and our biases. I don't mind guerilla having his opinions or expressing them - I would defend his right to do so. I think he thinks he supports America. I think he views himself as a patriot doing what is best for America. That I don't agree is merely my opinion. He has expressed his opinions and accused me of many things based on his view of my posts - and he is free to do so. Likewise, I take that same right to describe his posts as I see them, and I don't see them as being at all supportive of America or with the intent of bettering America. I see many of his posts appealing to those who already view America with suspicion and hatred and intentionally adding fuel to that fire. It is easy to be a curmudgeon and find the bad in everything. It is not easy to see all the bad and not become jaded - but that is what honesty requires. I like to take the view that although I may disagree with a fellow American on a policy we both support America. Hmm, don't think I have ever posted that image or care much about it. That image to me is a symbol of the Bush administrations rose colored view of events. It serves a symbol of how shortsighted Bush and his administration were with respect to Iraq and probably a symbol of his Presidency as a whole.
There's a misunderstanding I think of the difference of "America" and what has become. I think guerilla has a vision of what America should be, and what it is now. When somebody is ill and not performing to their potential, you don't say "shush!, this is a great person, how could you criticize his performance!". To say this, you would have to believe their fullest potential is significantly lower than if you acknowledged there was actually something wrong with that person, and that it could be fixed. In other words, I think guerilla sees more hope and potential in what America truly is, than those of you who criticize his observations.
I put my money, time, energy and webmaster skills on the table for what I believe in. You think I'm jaded, but nothing could be further from the truth. I'm inspired to learn more, to share and to do my part to make the world a better place. You and others might not like what I post, but that's your problem, not mine. These are the ugly facts about what our government does with our money, in our name. If it bothers you, or seems very negative, again, that is your problem. You should get involved and do something about it. Frankly, I don't give a crap what the brainwashed (sic) patriots think anymore. Lead, follow or get the F*** out of the way. I mean, you've got several posts talking about me, you or covering your @ss. Any comment on the Army manual for death squads, or are you going to bury your head in the sand like when AIPAC gets caught conducting espionage against the US government? Oh, and if you don't like my calling the last 20 years of Presidents war criminals, it's actually 28. I'm sure Reagan did some shady crap with his numerous election fixes and minor invasions that would warrant war crime. Some folks here make me completely sick with their arrogance, their justifications for war, war crimes, human rights violations etc. So from now on, idiots go on my ignore list, and I will keep rolling. Now, back to talking about death squads...
In other words he wants everyone to hear his criticisms, but he doesn't want to have to listen to or address criticisms of his criticisms. This is the thread he put me on ignore for : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=883040 So you people make up your own mind about whether he wants an honest debate or if his sole purpose here is to try to persuade others(which is the definition of propaganda) to his views of evil America.
