Lowest PayPal payment with no fees?

Discussion in 'PayPal' started by GroceryPriceBooks, Mar 29, 2009.

I searched all over for this so if it has already been asked I apologize, I didn't find it.

Does anyone know what the cut off is for fees on a business account? I received a payment of $1.56 (and a bunch that were lower) and there were no fee's taken out. The next lowest amount I received was $6.67 and they took $.56. Does anyone know the amount where it switches over?

    Thanks :)

Really. Paypal charges a fee for any payment on a business account even if it's only $0.99.

I have seen paypal deducting fees from a payment as low as $ 0.50 in my account, so I really wonder how it has been possible for the transaction to be devoid of any fees in the screen shot?

It depends on the type of the account.

If you use personal account then there is no transaction charge. However, personal paypal account is allowed for shopping online only. You can use accept website payments using it. If you want to do so, use premier or business account. And they have the transaction charges.

PayPal doesn't charge any fees when you receive the fund by Mass payment from some site, no matter which type of PayPal a/c you have. So those are mostly mass payment for which they haven't charged any fees.
