omg today is the worst day (and month) for me, got an eCPM of 0.33 today, so far i only got $1.8 in 112 clicks! i usually get around 700-800 clicks at the end of the day. which means i'l be expecting a <$20 earning today! last month im averaging $40-$50/day. could i be smart priced? or it's just because of the holidays? should i try filtering mfa sites? i need your opinion guys...thanks!
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=207178 I have the same problem I think we must wait and see...
I've just read this and this : http://www.selfseo.com/story-19184.php I think Google's new technology will not let us to earn a lot easy.
do you think it has something to do with my ad placements? please see my sites on my sig... thanks so much
yes, i believe that Google these days is not giving away lots of earnings just like that because they are devising measures to be more competitive in relation to AdSense earnings... i have encountered the same fate as yours. a significant drop of earnings along with clicks.
I am having same problem since last 10 days. But my CTR is same as before, just fall in earnings. So its not smar pricing , its only because of holiday season.
Earings are down ..I think the holidays keep the high rollers (adwords) from putting up more money .... lol
Well, it depends. Some advertisers will put ore money in because they are keen on selling product/services in time for christmas/new year.
my earnings same as last month which is not too bad, actually I could get more but because of big earthquake in Taiwan, my traffic going down..
in my case, my dsl connection has been crawling (slower than dial up) lately coz my dsl provider told me that the earthquake in taiwan has damaged many data cables. i can't even open youtube
All this time, I thought I was alone. From $20+ daily in one of my websites, it dropped to single-digit daily earnings for the last few days
Could be smart pricing. I'm also a bit surprised about those earnings. So many clicks, and so little per click! I think you maybe were already smart priced. I generally get about $25 for every 100 clicks. Perhaps trying to get out the low paying ads would help a bit. Really depends on the topic of the site and the ads running, though.
that's interesting, I wonder if they will INCREASE the CPC above the search results CPC on sites with a very good conversion rate...somehow I doubt it surely if a CTR remains the same but earnings fall, that suggests that it IS (or could be) smartpricing - rather than the opposite. Or am I misunderstanding smart-pricing alexdale, that sounds very poor but I guess if your usual CPC is 5c then smartpricing could take it to 1.5-2c. I'd wait a few days before panicking, and I wouldn't rush to start filtering ads quite yet - the holiday weeks are not 'normal' behaviour for users or advertisers
thanks for the replies everyone... it's already the 3rd of jan. and i'm still having the same problem. my traffic increased, clicks went up. around 800 clicks/day. but just $13-18/day
