Lowest Affiliate Commission

Does anyone receive affiliate commissions under $1.00?
Or should I say, promote publishers with commissions under $1.00?

    My lowest ones are:

    1MARKETU - $0.25
    1ANDONLY1 - $0.87

Maybe I should stay away from publishers starting with 1?:D

Is the norm $20.00 and up for commissions?

    Just curious.

I think that it is them disadvantage. Because most payment systems use fees for transfer money. As usual it is $50

You should always aim for the highest commissions. $1 commissions will hardly affect your bank balance. Of course, if you're going to use a PPC service to promote them, the products which offer the highest commissions are also the most competitive.

I pay $0.00 for advertising and PPC.

I just wanted to be fair towards all publishers...

But, How do some of these people survive as publishers on CB by giving out such a low percentage for commission?

The way I look at it...every penny adds up.

    I sold 1MARKETU on 02 Apr 2007.

I could not find them again on cbengine.com

They probably removed themselves from lack of sales...umm...maybe the low commissiom rate.

I would personally go for ones that pay higher than $20. I find that selling a $1 product is probably nearly just as hard as selling a $20 product. But the big different between the both is that you get 20 times the amount of earnings from the dearer product.

For me it's the same like John most of the times i promote products above 20$.
Sometimes a produt between 15 and 20$ but promoting a product for less than 5$ no way.

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one promoting publishers that pay such low amounts.:(

I originally started with the most popular products, then $15 and up, now all publishers.

How I see it is that if everyone promoted affiliate programs that pay low amounts to their affiliates, then they will keep paying these low amounts even though they are paying less than what they should in fairness. Now if everyone stops using them, then they will either have to increase their payouts or will have to stop the program.

Although this is a different story I guess as the merchant pays a good percentage by the sounds of things, just that you are also promoting cheap products.

I find products that pay at least $20 and above. Very rarely will I promote cheaper products than that onless its to a list or a backend offer.
