Any plumbers out there? LOL! We have crap for water pressure in our home, and our old shower head blew up, unfortunatly the new head is designed to conserve water pressure and is based on an 80 psi system to deliver ~2 GPM, the problem is our home is like 40 PSI so we get a plant mister for a shower! Any one know about moen shower heads? Could I drill a bigger inlet hole or something? Looks like there is an air infusion device to trick you into felling like there is more water than there really is, I wouldnt want to drill into something bad :( Anyways, any tips or website reccomendations appreciated.

I have no real advice...only it would seem a smaller nozzle would create the most pressure.

    Maybe this will help.

Haven't tried Moen, but for other low flow shower heads my husband has taken a part out so the water flows better. On the ones he's done, it was blue and looked more or less like a small basket. I have no idea if that helps or makes sense. Shower heads worked fine after.

Can you get it apart right at the base where the water supply comes in? I would be looking for a small metal disk with a hole in it. Assuming its there, I would just remove it and see how the head works without it.

Nah the MOEN's are one piece plastic crap, looks like I will be buying a different one, others have a regulator you can remove.

Don't feel so bad, I had a water main break while I was on Christmas vacation.. got a whopping $462 water bill yesterday.
