I created a car related website, which main attraction are technical specifications. It has been 6 months by now and for some reason it has stagnated in terms of daily visits and clicks on the ads. It gets about 3200 visits a month and 30.000 pages. What can i do to improve the number os visits? I already added the website to google, yahoo, altavista, etc, in fact all the mainstream search engines. The content is updated weekly and i make sure that the quality of the information is the best, to make it different from similar websites. Thanks in advance for your help. You add a lot of content frequently right? Do you social bookmark these content? I know it's been said a million times but I just had to ask.. because this is an excellent way to increase traffic. If not, let me know and I'll try to figure something else out for you

Big0ne explained it well. For my sites? Social bookmarking allows targeted traffic because people are searching for/interested in specific topics.. when you subject your sites to these social bookmarking sites in the appropriate category, it will allow these users to find your site which increases your traffic. IT works well for article heavy sites.. very well, and niche blogs (from my experience).
Social bookmarking works really well. An example from my website: I have a very new website - hardly anyone has linked to it yet. I bookmarked one of my pages on del.icio.us a couple of days ago to test how del.icio.us worked (was planning on bookmarking the rest of my pages later). I did a google search for my website today and found a random site that i'd never heard of linking to me. Why were they linking to me? They had a "latest headlines from del.icio.us" box in their right panel - my bookmark was in that box. I was amased - a free link to my site on the first page of the random google search that I performed.
Yes, the site is updates VERY frequently, but no, I do not do social bookmarking I haven't never eard about that before, gonna search for it, thanks
