I have an printed image which is taken from an kodak analog camera with 400 shutter speed and the used film from kodak. The image was print in 4x6 inch paper from kodak.

Now i want a digital version, so i have to scan in. i use HPG2410 Scanner.
my confusion is what is the resolution for the print. The final retouched image would be print on a A3 paper at landscape mode.

You ideally want a digital image of 3200x2400 pixels to print an A3 print. If possible you would be best to scan the negative rather than the printed 6x4. You can get a much higher quality scan from the negative. Scanning a print will mean you end up seeing the imperfections in the paper.
