Low quality pictures in powerpoint?

I'm creating a presentation, I'm importing images off my hard drive into the presentation but the but everytime I import an image the quality goes really poor and every image is fuzzy.

All my images are .png

Anybody know a solution to the problem?

Are the images being resized automatically when you insert them?

 

Some are some are not, some images are crops from MS paint I don't know of that changes anything?

 

Better save them as a better format.

I dont think that the quality decreases in Powerpoint.

 

What type of Images do you import? If they are thumbnails or smaller images, It is but obvious that they would get stretched in PP and will look fuzzy and distorted.
Try importing images of large dimensions and see if the problem still persists!

 

There mainly all screenshots, cropped in MS paint and saved as a .png and imported into the presentation.
