I've been noticing lately that some small websites with low pr are receiving a lot of hits during the fist week, week and a half after G and Y refresh their indexes. I suspect this is due to the content optimization algorithms that g uses and clears up not popular content earlier so it can be ready for the new deep crawl each month. This is happening with 5-6 small adwords websites that I have. Anyone any suggestions or ideas? I'm interesting to hear if you share the same observation. Cheers to all, Venetsian.
As pointed out many times before, PR doesn't matter for Google's ranking anymore. It is merely a (almost useless) number. So a website with lower PR can rank much higher than websites with higher PR.
I think I've replied to a dozen threads like this in the past week on DP. I'll just agree with Nima and keep it moving. Hey venetsian, I'm in Manhattan too, close to 14th street and broadway. Are you anywhere close.
I shall add that a TBPR export has NOTHING to do with rankings.. it is simply an anomoly U R seeing. I give U Senor Matt Cutts
I'm not really in the Manhattan - I'm in Woodside - the nega center of New York City. My office is on 61st Str. and 37th Avenue in Queens. Cheers mate! BTW are you interested in joining the SEO worlds or you are allready in? I'm looking for NYC team mates .. Venetsian.
