    Do you still run after low PR links ? like getting links from forum signatures, or from guest books, or from some websites profiles Like dating websites profiles,etc...

    Some forums are good links for traffic not Pr. It depends on what urls your promoting.

    I do not. I use forums more for traffic. Some types of sites are hard to find links so forums and low Pr sites would be best way to go.

    Examples of type of sites are ones usualy not allowed by directories. They can get better Pr with low ranking sites that they can get alot of links on. Takes alot of links to get bump in pr from low ranking sites.

    Best thing to do, is find a competitors forum that allows links in your sigs...

    Make some quality posts and try to gain a decent reputation, you'll be getting targetted traffic before you know it :)

    in my opinion, link is link.

    every link will help you to get better rankings but every link will help you with different weigth because of this, it will allways better to have all types of backlinks

    sorry i didnt realise you were after PR purely...

    my last comment was basically how to get cheap targetted traffic really from your sig links, i dont even know if sig links pass PR

    I go after low PR links if they have potential.

    I also go for low PR links if they are found high in search engine results.

    Personally, I hunt down quality backlinks. A quality backlink is primarily:

    - theme-related
    - comes from a hub site
    - is one-way

    As for PR, well... I don't thing toolbar PR matters much. And anyway, a low PR link is guaranteed to get more PR sometime soon, if it's a good, trusted site.

    Just my 2 cents.
