I'm going to create a website around a topic interesting for me (a game), but unfortunately all topic-related keywords are paying only 0,05$ (thats what keyword research tool from google says). Will all advertisements pay only 5 cents? Or will the google ads also show higher bidders ads on my site too? Could someone give me an average revenue for 10 000 US visitors a month? I know that ads placement and other factors make a difference, but between what range of revenue if they ads placement is ok I can get? Thanks!
Does it matter? Traffic is everything, as is content. We don't know how much you'll make, that's on you. Your content is what'll decide what keywords display for your ads, and your content will decide how much you'll earn with the traffic. Good luck.
Try to find out some keywords which has good avg. CPC. Otherwise your earning may be very little. But there have an option and that is traffic. If you have huge traffic then it is OK.
It depends on your niche. Some niche pay really low for pay per click in adsense. Try financial, law or auto related niches, they pay really good. I have a stock market site that pays average $1 per click.
The average cpc changes based on level of competition. There is easily a possibility of that website bringing in good revenue.
Bah, why does everybody have to create a crap site on a crap topic just because it has high paying keywords. Why can't more people create sites around things they know and love? Well, in any case, I haven't ever heard of a guy making it big just cause he had a few crappy sites set up with high paying keywords.
Game sites are a good option adsense. The chance for getting clicks is very high. And always try to use black theme, this will also help you to get more clicks.
