Low, low payouts?

what's going on the last few days. I just signed up for C and the payout is low

 

yea i agree, i make more with cpm >.<

 

The advertisers may refuse to pay high cpc...

 

what cpm do you use and can you use them on message boards?thanks.

 

Since common advetisers can't get into chitika and the standard ads from shopping.com make it hard for advertisers to compete in the market due to higher advertisement costs for them.

Three cuts are likely taken.
(example)

1. shopping.com takes $$$
2. chitika $$$
3. publisher cents

That's not a method that can survive online.

I can understand your frustration. Perhaps you can PM with the sites you currently run us on. I may be able to help with better integration, more appropriate ad product.

 

They pay poorly because chitka is taking all the money.

 

I think chitika is good! You just need to get the right products (RPU etc.)

hey i never got accepted into chitika (not their type of site i guess) I am wondering what is the usual cpc and what consider low in there?

a long time ago i heard they "audit" you for stuff so u see big number turn into small number is it still this way?

 

I hear a lot of complaints, but I certainly don't have any! I make over three times as much from Chitika as I do from Adsense.

 

I've been running it for over 6 months (on several blogs) and have made under $10 TOTAL.

By comparison I've made hundreds from AdWords and much more with Kontera.
