My CPC was fine before christmas ranging from around $0.02 to $0.05, but now my CPC is about $0.02. Also, my CTR has gone down a lot from about 1.25% to 0.50% :(

    My site is http://elitehackerspro.blogspot.com/
    What should I do?

Work on getting more traffic and writing more blogs. After you get a large amount of traffic the clicks will come...

Well after reviewing.. at first I was about to scold you for putting adsense on a hacking based site since the name of the blog threw me off, but then I found out it was for game cheats.

Try putting a 326x280 ad near the very top of your blog where blog posts are made. To be honest, I don't think it's optimized very well and I think you should try putting ads elsewhere to see if ad placement or content is the problem.

Are you tracking your visitors? If so, how long are they staying? If they're not staying very long, then try to get your ads near the very top like I told you and put it so they're more visible. I had to really look for the ad to find it, it really didn't draw my eye to it.

Also: That 5 link unit under the first post on the page, I would try changing that to a 468x60 ad so it draws a bit more attention. Live and learn though.. just tweak and try out new settings and new ads for a day or two to find out which gives you the best CTR.

How do I track my visitors?

For the ad near the very top, it doesn't look good since this template makes the elements aligned to the left which sucks, also there is no background so it's basically all there by it's self.

the best way to increase your clicks is to try different spots with different ad types. you can easily track each adsense unit by creating a channel for each one. With this testing, over time, you will better see what is getting the most clicks.

What I would do is first of all create channels for everything. That'll give you some good reports right off the bat. Second, if you really want to track everything, use Google Analytics and AdSense Advanced Reports to track almost everything that happens to your ads. Then analyze this traffic. Where's it from? When does it come? Is it desirable traffic? Once you've considered these questions (and more), try to pin down the "good" (high CTR, high CPC) traffic and maximize it. Do some spearSEO (my word for small, targeted SEO attacks that are customized for a specific group) and regular SEO. Submit your link for a day to that list of directories you have lying around. Spread your site on gaming/cheat forums. Also, post comments on dofollow, popular blogs. In a month or two, you should be getting some nice CPC and CTR :)
