IDK if I could post this here, but it says general chat. Okay, so for 2 weeks I started working out again. I was happy and all... I started doing 20 pushups the first day, and then 2 weeks later I was able to do 110 pushups.... but at that day something happened to my lower back, I started feeling slight pressure, then today its the 3 days and I still feel the pressure. Also my legs are tingling and I feel discomfort/numbness. BTW when I was doing pushups I felt like I was passing my limit and my back was touching the floor at the last 5 pushups I did. (I also did different work outs like cross crunches and what not...) What do you guys think happened? Will this go away soon? Should I see a doctor?
I think you should take a break. Sometimes if you do too many, your legs might get numb. Rest for a while, it should get better. Take it easy next time and don't do too many in one day if you can't. The point is to build up your endurance. I hope your numbness goes away soon.
Thanks, I just need an answer like, how long should I wait (When do I know its serious? a week? 2 weeks,,,
Give it 2 weeks. Also, are you warming up and stretching properly before your workout and cooling down after???
