I logged on to my adsense account today and got happy when saw i had 27 clicks, but when i looked at the earnings i saw that i only made 1.73$? Is it just me thinking this is pretty low for 27 clicks or is this normal? The site is a arcade site? Also anyone else owning a arcade please (if you dont mind) tell me if all arcade webmasters earn little? All responses Welcome thanks,
How many impressions did you get? I own GameDoller, and I get around 50 clicks a day, which is around $3.
Which countries do your visitors come from? Did you put a list of arbitrager domains in your competitive filter block to block out low paying advertisers?
Well I think July is really worst for all those fellows who is using adsense. I am also facing it and some of my friends also claiming for such kind of things.
gosh, you would earn that with one click on a finacial site! The problem is, there are so many games sites, and the adds always seem to pay so little (arcade or anyother type).
hmmm, so is there any other trick or solution to make your adsense earnings go up for arcade sites or other sites? Because a few weeks ago i had 600 impressions and 1 click that made 0.57$ and was pretty pleased about that(if only all clicks where worth that much). Is there any way i can see which ads on my site make most money per click?
Based on your number of clicks and impression, that should give your 1.5%CTR which should be normal. Nothing wrong with it and most probably it's because your niche has low paying ads. Maybe what you can do is try to reduce the number of ad units and find out whether that could help. That could act some sort of a filter to ensure low paying ads getting lesser chance to appear.
Something is seriously wrong with adsense. My earnings have gone down drastically in the past fifteen days. I am planning to quit adsense soon.
Well it's July... for the most part it's beautiful outside. People are out more, and surfing the internet less. I'm sure it's not just AdSense. I've got an online retail store, and our sales have slumped this month as well.
Historically, July is a very slow month for advertisers. There's less competition, so bid prices drop. Stick it out, or go with some CPM banner ads to tide you over until the fall.
