Hey Guys!! I was wondering if anyone experienced low earnings yesterday with Adsense as well. Or was it just me? None of my sites were down and I earn more than what I earned yesterday during weekends and as most of you doing Adsense knows, weekends are pretty much dead. I am not talking about $1 or $2 drop. But rather people who are good earnings high xxx per day did you guys notice a decrease? Please share your insight.
Yesterday was worst, but the fall began 3-4 days before that. CTR was in the declining trend for the past 1 month, but eCPM remained intact. (CPC increase) Yesterday's CTR was way below the worst day i had in the recent months. CPC also took a sudden nose-dive yesterday. That led to the collapse. Today it seems to have picked up. Both CPC and CTR are limping back to normal it seems. However, it might take a few more days to tell if recovery is real.
The last few weeks have been record-breaking for me. Nov 11 didnt break any records, but it was still way above average..
It was Remembrance day and that could have some impact on my verticals. Usually I always go beyond xxxx a day. I did notice a down in earnings past 4-5 days but it has been $30-$50 could be due to this long weekend holiday in NA.
oh yah, i forgot! The 11th was a holiday in the U.S. so many advertisers may have suspended their campaigns, resulting in lower earnings..
I have experienced low earning too. about one week ago my adsense earning decreased. There is normal clicks, visitors and targetting visitor from premium country. usually I get $30+ a day but now only $10 a day. But my amazon earning increase 100%.
I would've thought that everyone would be advertising Veteran's Day sales, resulting in a spike in earnings, on Veteran's Day. Then again, maybe I'm thinking of Memorial Day.
Do holidays actually affect the market though? I feel like not that many advertisers would care much, especially something small (no offense) as veterans days
Been getting quite high traffic and revenue the last few days, the 10th was our highest day to date. Different timezone of course.
Mine had decreased for about 3-4 days as well but actually picked up again Wed. and yesterday, Veterans Day wasn't so bad either. Sure beats Summer time though.
I noticed this also and I think that the problem in my account, but only now confirmed that many suffer from this problem This is also what happened with me, and my earnings dropped significantly during the past four days Listen Read phonetically
I learned not to worry about CTR fluctuations, that is really not a good thing to keep an eye on all the details of whats happening to your statistics. Just do more of what worked for you in the past, and don't worry much about CTRs. At least that's my perspective.... it really saves a lot of headache. When people don't know what they are doing (no offense, just talking in general), then it is easier to worry about stuff like that. But you just probably have a niche that is not clicking ads on a holiday. I did not see any decrease in CTR in my statistics on November 11th. I noticed that usually big fluctuations are temporary (1-2 days) and are for the most nothing to worry about if you have solid content and inbound links....
