Low Adsense CTR = Ban?

I have a site that has a very low CTR with adsense (about half a percent). I've heard that this can get you banned from adsense. Is that true? Should I remove adsense from the site for this reason?

I doubt you'll get banned. However, it seems to imply Adsense isn't suited for your site. Maybe you should try a CPM network + intext link network instead.

There is no CTR minimum or maximum, you can leave the ads there.

Not true. Adsense wouldnt ban the account due to high or low CTR but mostly on the content and the quality of click

I have heard that google disabled adsense accounts due to very poor earning over a long period of time and not due to low CTR; however a sudden occurrence of a very high CTR will be viewed suspiciously...

It might effect the type of ads shown. Not sure you'd get banned for this.

I think it's normal CTR if you have a certain type of website like a forum with several impressions for each user, obviously you will not be banned from adsense, a low ctr ensures that you are not cheating Adsense.

I haven't heard like that news. With my knowledge, your CTR can increase by adding search box to the pages and blending ads with site contents. But i am not thinking that google will ban your account because of low ctr.

There is no lower limit for CTR which can be risky. Higher CTR (4% above) will look abnormal and Google specialist might take a personal review of your website.

0.50% CTR is almost equal to get banned. Isn't it?

I believe most sites CTR should range between 0.5% to 1.5%.

You should not get banned for low CTR. You will get banned however if you are clicking on your own ads

    No, it is not!
I have a site with similar CTR due to the fact that main source of traffic is from images and have no problem at all.
Actually it is earning pretty good because of the high paying keywords and despite the low CTR.

CTR issue? I've never had any issues over CTR nor have I heard about anything like this. CTR can be any amount as long as they are legit.
