    I was 14 when I told my now wife that I love her. We had only been "going out" for two weeks. She still makes fun of me for it. :p

    Yeah, I think a guy should ask the girl out, Not being sexist but if your too scared to ask a girl out, Then you don't have any 'balls'

    I asked my girlfriend out and we are doing great after 1 year!

    I am married and I didn't propose my wife to marry me...it was something we both wanted and agreed to do so...It wasn't something romantic or other like this...We really wanted to be together, that's it!

    I was the first to use the word 'love' but my wife proposed to me... it was Feb 29th (leap year) and I told her a few days before that it was the only chance she'd get me to marry... I'm such a romantic ;)

    That's sweet folks. In my case, me and my girl were best friends for over a year and then one fine day I just asked her.. "Will you be the girl of my life ?" and she uttered... "Abhi ... I thought I already was :)"
