4 Years is a very long time for the average person to go without some type of sexual relationship. If your belief is to hold out until you are married, I can respect that, but there's no way I would wait that long.
If you are in a relationship and not have sex for 4years, then both the partners should be appreciated for their control over thoughts. But, if u ask me the same question, 1. not involved in a relationship - can I stay with out having sex for 4yrs, absolutely yes, I have pretty good control with my issues 2. involved in a relationship - This is tricky, depends on the type of relationship, if I am married then most probably not, unless either of us are advised not to have sex for few yrs down the line due to some un-expected medical problem, if its only love and not living together or married, then very well yes. I am not some on who falls on for short time temptations.
I don't think you can truly understand love without understanding sex. Sex is the reason for everything you see around you. It's a tremendous force that must be harnessed properly for creation; if it is used irresponsibly, it will destroy. You will only come to understand a certain aspect of love if you do not engage in sexual union, but there will be an aspect of universal affection that you can never comprehend without copulating.
I need sex love can wait plus when you mixx the 2 you find yourself in a relationship thats hard to get out of.
