yes quite, in many cases, but they should fight for the same, its better get killed once then live with some one who you dont know all ur life and die every moment of ur life .
I think both are not bad choices, why? Love marriage is good since you don't have anyone to blame for your choice. If the choice is good then you'll come back saying its the best. The challenge is people sometimes fall out of love and when they do, divorce and separation follows. If you love the one you married then stick to them till the end. In Arranged marriage the girl is brought home before you even get to know sex (in some cultures) you end up living as friends. The friendship part strengthens your bond and your relationship is no longer based on sexual satisfaction but real love and respect for each other. I wouldn't stop anyone intending to have the arranged marriage.
Love marriage of course. Arranged marriage is very difficult to handle and most probably end up in divorce.
Now that is a crime before God. Marriage is not a business deal for parents to arrange. It is something sacred. Only God can put two people together - true love between them. No one else neither priests, family members etc. should force or coerce a woman or a man into a marriage.
