Well, yeah. You can love someone from the internet, but you need to know her in real life or know she's real close to you too. If not, then it's just personalities that don't truly know each other going at it. It's just love that wouldn't be brought out.
I don't think it's possible for love at first sight to happen online and I also agree with others that you should be cautious online because you never know who is really at the end of the other computer.
