Got some insider information from a RP supporter in Louisiana who has been closely involved with the delegate campaign there. Some great news if you like that Ron Paul fella.
Yea, this is amid reports from last night that we have some ridiculous amount of the alternate delegates already. Maybe the other candidates should concentrate less on negative campaigning and getting sucked off by the MSM and more on getting on all the ballots and winning over delegates.
There are only 95 alternates, the LA GOP couldn't fill the last 10. Of the 95, RP was guaranteed 46 as of this morning. We could potentially have more. As far as the actual delegates, there was some dirty tricks from the Romney/Huckabee camps as they did not have a full slate of 15 delegates, so they combined slates in some districts and called themselves the "Pro-Life, Pro-Family" slate. That said, the organizers in Louisiana are pretty optimistic. If we did capture the alternate majority, and several proper delegates, then it all comes down to the primary on Feb 9th. As long as no one candidate gets 50% +1 vote, we'll likely take most if not all of the Louisiana delegates.
Unlikely AGS. I just heard that in one precinct, we took 11 of 15 delegate slots. Only 31 more to go. In order to participate at a brokered convention, one must have won 5 states. We're positioning ourselves perfectly with potential wins in Nevada, Louisiana and a couple other states. In fact, if Giuliani doesn't win Florida, I'm quite sure he won't win anywhere else, and be eliminated.
