Same here, i had a decent amount of ctr a couple of weeks ago but it suddenly dropped by 80% last week and it seems to stay like that.
Maybe it's temporary so i'll just sit it out before i change the layout of the ads.

receiving very little clicks for 400 impressions daily is very common, just bring more traffic to it

For your first site, I would try integrating your ads into the main body of your content more. Perhaps have your text/content wrap around a square ad. Also, keep in mind that a decent CTR for a blog type site can be 1-2%. With that in mind, you would optimally only be looking at getting 4-8 clicks per 400 page views in a good CTR situation.

Regarding your second site, I see you integrated the ads into the content more, which is good. But I would also try "blending" them in more. Perhaps use a simple white background with white/no border. May help them fit in more with your other links, and be less likely to be overlooked as advertisements.

    Good luck!

I recommend changing the color of the AdSense links to the color of the links on your site. Furthermore you should put a 468x60 banner right at the top of your content. That may help.

Same here. Change the colors of the links to match your sites'. Then put the ad right under the first showing blog post using an ad format like a Large Rectangle.

    Good luck bschneider5!

Originally, I did have the banner ad on the top of the content, but the site appeared too "Spammy" so I took it off.
