Lots of spidering little indexing

I've got a PR3 site, at least 8 months old. It gets quite a bit of spidering, almost a few thousand googlebot hits a day, and about 100 msn and yahoo bots per day as well.

However, eventhough there is this much spidering, I don't get a lot of indexing. I do have some backlinks.

Any thoughts on how to improve the indexing.

    Thank you

As I know, Goolge will index the page with different Meta content.

If all your pages have the same Meta DATA. Google will treat all them as the same page.

Hope it will be helpful as I am new also in SEO.

You want unique page titles and descriptions. If their the same they may all get stuffed into supplemental results.

I did doublecheck that, and yes the webpages have unique descriptions and titles.
