    Hi guys,
    I am starting my first proper site at http://www.activesleep.com - At the moment it's definitely not finished: I'll be finishing the articles, adding more, adding more games and more entertainment than just games, i'll be putting the games in to categories, adding a forum, trying out adwords and more.

    What I want to know is this:

    1. What are the best 10 directories I can submit to for free?
    2. How can I get lots of backlinks?
    3. What methods do you use to get lots of traffic consistently?
    4. What are the best free linkswap services to use?
    5. Where can I submit my link to cheaply (and permanently)?
    6. How can I make my site better for search engines (rankings)?
    7. What other ways can I use to improve my page rank and search engine rankings?
    8. Any other tips/advice?

    and finally:

    9. Wouldn't it be cool if lots of DP members got together and made the "DP SEO guide"?

    I think most of the information you're looking for is easily found on the forum, people are reluctant to type it all out again since you're asking so many questions.

    Best way to get quality traffic is from search engines.
    Search the google free site submit and find several pages to submit 30+ SE
    read post here, your answers are among forum posts!

    you should read some article like http://www.seomoz.org/articles.php or search on google.it is not easy to learn all things in one day.you have to read forums regularly.

    Write an article submit it to article directories and press release to press release directory. Also post your ads to some free ads posting.
