Hi I have been doing loads of seo on one of my sites. Blog commenting, article writing, varying keywords, deep linking, social book marketing etc... However, although some keywords when from page 4 to page 2, they have slowly started to drop back slowly... My site is still PR0....!! The site only went live in July 2010 - do you think it could still be in the sandbox after 8 months (or partly, if that possible!) I cant see why I am not progressing the site as much as I want after 2.5 months of SEO... thanks Rob
Keep the link building, concentrate on your rank in the search engines rather than specifically page rank, page rank is just a unit used to measure and its very broad spectrum. Use some SEO web tools to measure backlinks etc.
Pagerank will be useless for your site unless you're selling links or blogposts on your site, some of my sites have N/A Pagerank but could beat PR 3 and 4 websites on the Google SERP.
I also agree. I think Sandbox is related to SERP not PR. Page rank depends upon hosting services also.
The visible PR updated not too long ago, but like everyone says PR isn't important. Concentrate on ranking. The sandbox is real but you're not in it. Without link spamming most people won't hit it.
I wouldn't panic, wait until July of 2011, if you still have a PR0 then will have reason to be concerned. Page Rank only really matters if your planning on joining ad networks. Many if them want you to have decent page rank.
yeah, I am also have the same headache, don't know how it will be solved.....Some friends told me PR is only a number, and since a couple of years ago, google has stopped offering PR to the new website, since then all the new website has the PR0, I not sure about this messege, does it so?
PR used to be really important. I was always buying PR6 expired domains, installing a script to generate millions of pages and I'd be banking the next day. Since it became all about trust and relevance PR isn't really worth considering.
Yes you are right. PR will increase when your site have the weight. Yes, Google is going too strict in regards of PR issue. It is because of the so-called(blackhat) SEO fellows who uses their gimmick in 6 months or so and uses Xrumer blast, Auto forum posting etc etc tricks. Days of blackhat gone. So, be ethical and keep patience, otherwise Google is not going to tolerate any blackhat method.
just buy some links from high PR pages, it will increase your PR with the next google PR update. Lot of links sometimes can't make your PR high if google identify them as spam links.
