Lots of impressions but zero clicks

    As of right now I'm getting about 600 impressions a day for a set of keywords. I have two ads running on this keyword set. I think the keywords I have chosen are pretty good long-tail ones. However, either my ads are terrible, or these searchers aren't into clicking on ads.

    Total I've had two clicks in the last 5 days. That's very pathetic.

    So, here are the ads:

    Learn {keyword:Law of Attraction }
    Get a free copy of The Science of
    Getting Rich in your email today
    http://urlhere.com

    Learn {keyword:Law of Attraction }
    Create the life of your dreams!
    And learn the biggest secret of all
    http://urlhere.com

    I'm leaning towards just having crappy ads as this is my first real attempt at using PPC.

    Would you mind suggesting some tweaks to these ads to increase my CTR? I'd really like to get the ball rolling so I can increase my list size from 2 people, to who knows how high.

    Thanks.

    P.S. Oh yeah, and I'm in postion ~4 for the keywords I've chosen

    That's 0,8# CTR... that's maybe not so bad for placement 4. Bid higher to reach top spots if your conversion $$$ can manage. Are you the lowest bidder?
    Sometimes it helps that you are on the botom of the list.

    bid higher to increase impressions. the sample size of 600 impression is very low to

    What are your keywords?

    Split test the headline first. Try a few different things that are drastically different and stick with the ones that work best. Then split test body text.

    Also, I'm not clear on the benefit when I read your copy.

    Create the life of your dreams!
    And learn the biggest secret of all

    "Learn the biggest secret of all" isn't a concrete benefit. It's not "make money" or "get women" or "relieve stress." It just doesn't convey a benefit.

    What would getting a free copy do for me? Again, I'm not clear on what I would directly benefit by clicking on your link.

    Make the benefit in your copy more clear.

    My 2 cents.

    If you are getting those kind of impressions, I would go with impression ads, not CPC, if I were you.

    Your ads are not very compelling. Try testing out some new ones. Would you click on your ads if you searched for your keywords? Think of it that way.

    The first ad is hard to read. I had to read it several times to realize that you are talking about "The Science of
    Getting Rich". The second ad says - "And learn the biggest secret of all". This doesn't make sense. I agree with Derek. Tweek and grow rich!

    Probably you have a sucky position.

    From my experience you need to secure at least >4 to get enough visibility. So try to raise your bid a little bit.
