lots of blogs, same ip address, problem?

I have a lot of blogs and more to come. I have a hostgator account that i host everything. Its pretty fast so i love it. My question is, if its bad to host everything in the same ip class? The blogs are not all-in-one niche. They are all different.

Assuming, the server im hosting on has 1000 other sites from other clients as well, i think it should be ok. This is the nature of shared hosting.

I do not link my blogs currently, what if i want to give a link from Blog A to Blog B? Would it be less-quality backlink since its the same ip?

    Thanks

I have multiple sites on shared hosting like you, but have multiple shared hosting plans with multiple providers (I do like hostgator best myself as well). I have not run into any problem, and I don't think the fact that you are hosting them on one IP is going to hurt in any way unless you do want to link them.

In this case, it will likely depend on how you link them. If you plan to create one huge link hub with them all interlinking regardless of topic, that will likely not help you, but if you are linking only highly relevent content and pages to eachother, you should be fine.

There is no problem with what you are doing. But if you have a link on site a to site b and so on it will not be good for your SEO.
