Does MSN bring you a lot of traffic? Recently I've noticed MSN bringing me a lot more traffic than google and yahoo, not combined but separatly. For certain keywords my site is ranked one I guess thats why. But does it bring you a lot of traffic?
MSN has been bringing me more traffic over the last few months then ever before but it still only makes up about 15% or so of all the traffic I get.
for me it depends on the campaign - sometimes its adwords sometimes adcenter. i mean if i didn't care about budget and set adwords max cpc up high, google would bring in more but trying to keep cost constant, it depends.
Well percentage wise, I get about 70% from MSN and 5% from google lol, the rest you can figure out by yourself
It's like a variable. It depends on the sites, the age of the website, the niche blah blah, msn is small, very small but it CAN bring you some good traffic but it depends on a lot of things. With google, you can have a website about the dirt under your shoes and you'd still get traffic out of it. One thing though. I have noticed that MSN's conversion rate is FAR better than any other search engine's conversion rate. If only their results were not crappy! :s
MSN brings 1/10 the traffic for me using the same keywords, landing pages, ads, etc. for idential campaigns. YSM seems to be pushing the most traffic to my site. Really though, my fundementals probably aren't what they should be yet, so my experience might not be typical.
MSN brings me less than 10% of my traffic. I'm mainly working to search engine optimize my site for google, where its more popular
my stats are quite similar to swiftmed.. I get almost 60% from MSN 30% from yahoo and 5% from Google and 5% from Alexa, hotbot and others... Although when it comes to crawling the googlebot took almost 2GB bandwidth this month where as MSN did only 200M.
