Lot of Small Background Images - SEO Effects

    my client site is having lot of background images instead of front end images, how its effects my seo campgin!!

    Please suggest the improvements. does i really recommend them to change to front end

    does the background & front end images will have same loading time?

    how about the file sizes, does that change anything?

    Will google identify the background images? (i know alt tag is for front end which can be understood by Google)

    Please help me!

    If you are adding the keywords in the image which is related to that Image then it is okay.But if you are adding keywords in image tag which is not related to that image then it will affect you SEO.

    If the images are related to the website then its OK. If they are just scrappy then they will hurts your SEO campaign. Request him to remove them if they are not niche related.
