Lot of Idle Workers

    I start having a problem after reboot server going loaded and that loading is not going down , only up until next reboot.
    I took a closer look and find out that I got a lot of (88 idle workers)


    Server uptime: 10 hours 58 minutes 2 seconds
    Total accesses: 138802 - Total Traffic: 810.3 MB
    CPU Usage: u702.36 s81.15 cu0 cs0 - 1.98% CPU load
    3.52 requests/sec - 21.0 kB/second - 6.0 kB/request
    12 requests currently being processed, 88 idle workers


    Is that could be a problem of server overload , just because server can not handle all requests and those are getting in line up ?

    Looks like you or someone else messed with your StartServers, MinSpareServers settings. I would check those first. If you have 88 idle workers you can lower your MinSpareServers quite a bit.
