Lost sales - Am i going insane?

    Just to kick off I am not here to moan about the fact that my sales have dried up because of CB problems (which i hope are fine)

    Here's the deal, I was just browsing my analytics where it said I had made 2 sales for this particular product today (nice juicy $75 commission). I was surprised at first because I had not been actively promoting it for some time (organic traffic baby for the win!)

    Then when I decide to look into it further yano to see where they came from and hopefully set up a stream for more moniez, one of them had disappeared so that my analytics only showed 1 sale for today:confused:

    Now i may just be sounding like a complete noob and this may just be normal but I had already spent this money (in my mind anyway) so I am very much annoyed!

    Now I can think of a few reasons why this could be but would like some clarification from you old timers

    1) Its normal - the analytics are not final and there can be some fluctuation
    2) Clickbank is screwing up again
    3) The gnomes stole my affiliate sale (them damn gnomes it is always them)
    4) I really am just going insane (kind of the same as point 3 but meh!)

    On my transaction page one of my sales just disappeared as well.. and it showed as I went down the 30 bucks the sale was from.. I thought it was weird too.. guess im not the only one!

    I got an adwords conversion yesterday for my fixya360 guide, but the sale was no where to be found in my clickbank account. Not sure what happened, or if the person somehow found my thankyou page without buying, but this is the first time I have ever had this happen.

    It's called hijacking your affiliate id and them buying the product and receiving the commision themselves. That way the product is theirs for 20% of the actual price, Or whatever the commission is.

    How it's done I'm not sure, but I know it happens.

    ClickBank has some security issues to resolve.

    check under transactions ( if the 2 appear) if the charge was to the same person...that would be a double charge so one cancels...once happened to me...

    surely it wouldn't be possible to hijack the sale after it had actually gone through though?
