hello few days ago i noticed that my site that was a pr 1 became a pr 0 but today by chance i found that my pr became in fact 3 but... www.xxxxxxxx.com pr=0 xxxxxxxx.com pr=3 can anyone please help me here what should i do ???? i was submitting these days my link as www.xxxxxxxx.com should i change to xxxxxxxx.com instead inorder to strengthen this one and why i have this difference any one can help me please ????
We also have this problem but traced it back to the way were were doing our sites internal links. We now have the following on 6 of our 7 sites. www.xxxxxxxx.com pr=4 xxxxxxxx.com pr=3 Do you think Google sees these two scenario as different sites? Jim Catanich
The best way of dealing with this is to set up your site to do a 301 redirect from either www.example.com to example.com or from example.com to www.example.com. Ideally this would be done from the start when the site was first set up, however, it is never to late to make this change. I personally point all of my sites to the sans "www." version of my domains. Oh and yes, Google sees www.example.com and example.com as two different sites. It will take time, but by using the 301 redirect, PR will be concentrated on the version of your domain you point the 301 redirect to.
i'm affraid that all the work we are doing for the www version is cosidered other than the none www , so the pr work is devided ..... instead of having pr 5 we get pr1 ad pr 3 for example
