Please could someone explain to me how a page which has been on my web site for ages & I'm sure must have had a page rank now appears to have none. My site is www.puertopollensa.com & the offending page is http://www.puertopollensa.com/hotels.html If I actually access the page is shows no rank in the Google Tool Bar & the tool bar also says no cache. However if I do a search in Google 'site:www.puertopollensa.com hotels' it is indexed by Google & there is a cache from Jan 2nd. This page is very important one for my site & I'm not sure where I've gone wrong.
Your homepage is 15kb in size compared with the hotels page which is 284kb, lots of java script aswell, This wont help.
Thank you. I was worried about the size. The javascript has always been there but it has grown recently. I'll look at splitting it in to several pages. Would the growth in size stop Google ranking it? I still don't understand why there is a cache (old one) via the Google search but not via the Tool Bar. Is there a difference?
I dont think anyone can really tell you what google does with some pages. Best advice is to make the page spread over a number of pages and then point some external links to them.
