Lost keywords ranking in Google?

Hi, I just recently lost keyword rankings for my website. I was not using any blackhat technique and also not involved in link exchange or link buying still I lost rankings. I have left with the rankings in Google with my social media profile but not for website URLs. Also, I have rankings in Yahoo and Bing.

Please suggest me ideas, if you faced the same and recovered.

LOL. Everyone says the same thing after losing their ranks.
I think you should take a deep look to your website and then start thinking again what were the faults. Remember one thing that Google don't ban a site without any valid reason.

Questions to ask yourself:

How much real value is the site offering?
How many unique domains point to your site?
How often are you updating your content?

All of these thigns contribute to your ranking success.

 

Keyword ranking largely depend quality of backlinks the links we generate using the keywords in different sites are helpful.

 

Check your webmaster tool..whether you got message from google or not. Then check anchor text link source etc.

 

When you lost the ranking for the keywords? Check you have a major drop in visitor in last 10 days or not. As there are couple of updates in Google algorithm with in last 10 to 12 days.

What ever links that you have built might be removed. Post some articles and do some social bookmarking...

 

Is your matches exactly with your keyword? Recently it's happening so much because of google's EMD update.

 

If you are using google webmaster tools check if there are issues.

How fresh is your content? If you have no fresh content then try adding new quality content

 

Google has 'slapped' the low quality websites in its latest algorithm update. Google has done 3 major update in recent time (and very quickly indeed!) which has caused severe ranking lost for many webmasters around the world.

My advice to you would be to follow the guidelines from Google's blog and implement those into your website. The ranking which you have lost can only be recovered, if you follow that.

Use keywords and anchor text that have nothing to do with your domain.

If you have BlueSportCoats.com, under no circumstance this month should you target "Blue Sport Coats" more than 10% of your total keywords, and 10% is probably too high.

This update was weathered by everyone who didn't abuse their EMD in their content or anchor text.
I ranked a site with 3 pages in 4th position for a keyword through this update. Their URL was a brand and I didn't use it once.
A former client had 600 backliinks sent to their domain, using their domain as an anchor, and they're begging me back after they complained my linking wasn't fast enough.

tl;dr You will get past this update if you diversify keywords and anchors and backlinks away from your site's main page. It really isn't an intense update. It kind of is an update to check who was a lazy spammer.

 

Everyone is try to guest the actual problem, it is important for you to provide more detail, so that it help us to identify the actual problem. Lost ranking in Google can be due to many reason, e.g. poor content, spammy link and competitor getting better and more relevant.

 

To work with dedication and honestly and also according to the Google's Policies can improve the site rank and rank lost doing against the Google's policies. So the best way is to study and follow the terms and conditions set by Google.

 

If you ranking is down Check your content, update it to unique (not copied any where), also the quality of your content is very high. Check your website meta tags, write proper meta for each pages of your website, don't copy meta one page to another, or same meta uses in two or more pages
Remove duplicate pages or remove page which have same content to other page in website or one content used in multiple pages
Put H1 tags on your Main keywords

 

Don't be cool after getting a better position on google. Continue you promotion and link building services with niche sites. This will surely make you to find in a better position for a long time.

 

Have you lost rankings for all your keywords?

 

What is the quality of the content? Is your domain and EMD? There was a recent Google Update that affected EMDomains.

 

Don't lose hope. Hang in there. Create fresh content and create more links and site will pick up again. Just the domain name is hot these days. Vary your anchor text and you will start coming back up.

 

Update new content and do some back links.

 

New original content + high qality backlinks
