Okay, here's the story: My friend hosted a site for me, and just recently he had to cancel the hosting because of some problems with it. I didn't make any MySQL backups, and so now all my previous databases/files are gone. Is there anyway for me to get them back? I'd hate to start over.
If they have backups they might send you one, with your friends permission, for a fee. Money and politeness can go a long way.
