Well, I was number one for a few very uncompetitve keywords with my recording studio's website. I checked yesterday and it appears that I've completely fallen out of the 100 for all these non competitive keywords. I've been doing the SEO thing for a few monthes and I'm still learning ways to make my site more or less natural. The chances is good that I tripped some Google filter, simply out of ignorance, but maybe not. Has this happened to you guys? Should I be alarmed? Brandno
Are you looking at the keyword tool? If so don't be alarmed, it seems some terms are dropping to N/A intermittantly even though the actual results haven't changed. Then there are others that still say N/A even though they're ranking now. Hopefully it's just a glitch. Look at the mcdar tool, that's been more accurate, but if you have a lot of keywords not quite as convenient. Ian
Re-submitting your site will do nothing. Chances are the site is moving because of the latest changes to the search engine. Once that stops, you will know where you stand.
Thanks guys. Hopefully, it's just a Google update. It's been over a week now. I must say that I'm a little paranoid. It's not a huge deal. This site is just a convenient way for people to contact the studio. Man, wouldn't it be nice if Google emailed you with what you did wrong??? ....back to reality. I searched for my site on Google myself, so that shoots out the malfunctioning script theory. Brandon
