Lost a couple of back links on msn

I know my backlinks have increased, but over the last 3-4 days, MSN has only gone down.

Is there a resason for this?

 

There have been several threads on this. no one knows why, but they are not showing all backlinks. I've noticed that they aren't showing similar links anymore. for example, only one link from this forum instead of multiples.

 

Actually today my backlinks almost doubled for some reason.

It is showing duplicates though again.

They are probably copying Google.

I think it's always a safety measure in not displaying all the data like backlinks. It means they don't have to explain things when they go wrong as people don't know that things have gone wrong.

I think Google has managed this several times recently.

 

MSN updates every couple of days.

You may notice your backlinks changing if you're using the co-op. Since MSNBot is constantly spidering, you're very likely to see your links fluctuate if you use the co-op.

What you will want to make sure is that your static link partners are staying the same. If this is the case, then it's just co-op flux, which is very normal.
