I'll send them an email like forumSEO did.
Seriously mate I'm sorry for your loss.
    Lesson learned eh?

Keep us upto date on here, won't you?

    Best of Luck!

I sent them a rather realistic email advertising a $9k prroject with £1k bonus opportunity. I then emailed them with:

It's really sad that there are people like that. You should take all possible actions to take down these scammers. Outsourcing is a monster chunk of the indian economy so I'm sure the authorities there will take matters like this very seriously. There are a lot of indians here on DP and I'm sure they'll be willing to help you.

Actually, you use their trademark in your domain and that's far from a perfect situation because they can shut down your domain. But most probably that is not going to happen because I don't think they want to go to court.

$4,000!? you should take them to court! Even you not paid them all that amount, you still have the rights to get back your money. Did you ask them why they are so slow?

...and about the fix you're asking for at your Carbonon related website:
PM me and I'll fix it for you for free. But please keep in mind that this is a password related problem so we either have to work close on IM to solve it or you have to give me some passwords.

I haven't really pursued the matter. They've stopped communicating with me and refuse to give me any sort of refund. Suing them is not an option for me, it wouldn't be cost effective and would be too timely for me.

I'm just going to put this experience behind me. Hopefully they lose enough clients because of my site that they will eventually come to their senses and refund me my money, although I'm not going to hold my breath.

As for the error on the site, theres no need to fix it. im eventually going to hire someone else to make the site and start from scratch since it was junk anyway.

    Thanks for the support

You can take legal action If you are from U.S due to indo-us cyber traty signed , and you can also ask , indian IT law to act against them and take care of them by the IP , If you have froof then , its easy , because Indain Cyber Laws are almost same as of U.S
