Lost 25% traffic after a bit of page redesign.

    I don't change my front page at all,I just added meta description and added comment form below the article for every article page 4 days before.I am losing traffice now...:(

    check your Google Analytics. find out which source are loosing your traffics

    Your page redesign should have nothin to do with your traffic going down. Did you change up your links or your content? That's your cause right there, not a design.

    maybe accidentally deleted or modified some content that was received traffic before hand.

    The traffic you're losing is from which source?
    Should be a temporary issue if it's organic traffic that you are losing. Your rankings should bounce back within a couple of weeks.

    Well, if they lost google rankings - its because they lose it for a reason, obviously they need to work on backlinks.

    Have you checked your statistics program for today and compared it to a few days before? There might be an advertisement who isn't online anymore etc. too. Do let us know if it's with Google, we could then look into the problem ;)

    Page Redesign does affect the traffic is your meta description and other information style has been changed. I have also experienced a 30% traffic drop on my website. I don't think you will get it back as it is related to onpage optimization. Building a link on that might help you out...
