    Hello DP'ers,

    L O S T - F A N .N E T is a new site (no traf.rev. yet)
It's got a great domain name that is sure to rank high in search engines with a good promotion campaign. Content is self-updating with feeds. Installing and moving it over to your sever is a piece of cake.

Additionally, you can easily install a PHPBB bulletin boards for it (takes a couple of clicks with Fantastico in Cpanel) and link the site to it.

    Bidding starts: $15
    Bid increment: $5
    BIN: $95
    auction end not decided yet.

    happy bidding. :)

Lots of sites coming out with this free script heheh.

I'll bid the $15 though since I am too lazy to setup a site using the scirpt myself.

Is that fair? I mean you could be bidding up your own auction, I think auctions should list the bidder as its only open to memebers
$30 if I see the other bidder, else $25

with all due respect, i think you may not yet have come across auctions where some bidders prefer to stay private.

if you post some sites for sale yourself , you may experince that some bidders prefer to stay anonymous due to various personal reasons.

i wish i could forward you the private bid that i recieved via PM, but in the interest of keeping the trust of the bidder, i could not do so. ( if the private bidder reads this post, and wishes to reveal their name and the private bidder , they are welcome to do so. )

however, i do understand your concern that there might be instance that a seller may claim a private bid. i for one could speak on my own behalf that the bid recieved is very genuine.

if this matter is of great concern to any buyer/bidder, they are welcome to contact the forum admin so they could access my PM inbox and verify the private bid recieved.

    i apprciate your understanding.

thank you for your bid as well, and good luck

Thanks for the reply, did not seem to be harsh, its just that this is a normal type of site and thought it was strange that someone would bid privately, maybe its a present for someone lol

Anyway, reply tells me your honest, $30

It's actually pretty common burf. A lot of people would rather make private bids or offers and you see that when you sell a site. Of course I assume there are some shady people that pretend to get private bids just to bump up the auction...this isn't one of them ;).
