Lost 1/3 traffic in New Year Day,Why?

    Not only you , but many sites have similar condition..
    The reason is holidays on 31dec, 1st jan and also its weekend.

    Lots of heavy duty new year partying and hangovers, weekend, football, and probably a combination of these.

    I lost more than 1/3 traffic. New years is a world wide holiday so people are out partying.

    i think it's normal, it happened to me also during christmas day, on new years eve my traffice was down as well

    Me too, I see huge drop in SERP for many of my websites and I am not sure what is the reason.
