much of the world who are using xp,do not have genuine windows.instead, they use the cracked ones..i think,Microsoft are losing much from our way of thinking and punishable offense.even then, they are much lenient and they are not catching anyone who are using pirated ones, except few.....there are infinite number of sites, who are promoting these pirated versions, who implicitly trying to harm their products...what should be our view?..to think of them or to continue what we are doing, thinking of ourselves?
Even if there were strict laws it would be difficult to enforce them, because different countries have different laws. I do not think there is anything that can be done about this problem.
There are things that can be done, but then it would seem as breaking our basic rights (privacy wise) Also, diff countries and diff laws play a role in this as well.
MS better think something that would hurt those using not licensed, if they want to control that matter. But of course, those who are cracking them are wise too.
I think you are wrong. I am not saying that I condone piracy in any way at all, but I don't believe that the majority of people using a pirated copy of windows now would have bought it if their wasn't a 'free' version around. You can't count every copy as a lost sale as people would have probably just used a free alternative like linux.
hey,i just about the pirated versions ach one is using...i know many who wish to use linux,if pirated xp cant be used.....
