Hi there, can you loose pages in google, because my site pages are dissapering. I use to have around 500 pages indexed in google but when i checked I had 10 page less.
Sure you can lose pages. If google feels they are duplicate content, or don't offer any real value, then they are in danger of being removed. Try and get some deep links to various pages in your site.
Links that point to pages deep within your site. An example is http://www.yourdomainnamegoeshere.com/onedirectorydeep/yourpage.htm
What do you mean with "real value"? Google is algorithm, they won't notice whether your article is rubbish or not. What you need to do is just create an unique content, don't copy paste from someone else's content, then get some links.
I mean if your pages dont have any links pointing to them, they dont have content in them, they are duplicates of other pages already indexed, or they are in any way spammy, then the algorithm can decide those pages dont offer any value to end users and they wont be indexed.
Just want to know if this is also the reasons why my rank on google disappeared in terms of other keywords iam using? I used to be in the 1st page of the google and when i checked in last week i wasnt even rank. So duplications of contents means google removing your ranks or pages? Thanks in advance.
Give fresh content to your pages and link those pages with pages that are already being crawled by google or post an article with the links of these web pages and get indexed there links again in google.
