Ah, sort of like loose change laid out the "facts." I can appreciate that. I suppose it would depend on who "us" is.

Do you think many people take this guy seriously? I'm always a bit skeptical of people that have to put "truth" in the title of something to sell a product.

Well, I guess you'll have to judge him on the documents he presents...

    Are you into Scientology GTech?

You know, they refuse to talk to people rationally when they disagree on something too...

Are all republicans scientologists in hiding?

Where is the proof that it wasn't space aliens that caused the buildings to fall?

When time permits. There are lots of crazy people out there looking to make a buck off young angry white males with low IQs. I'm sure I don't have to remind you of that, though. Gotta be careful out there ;)

Nope, but I've read some about it. I really don't have an issue with religions that don't threaten my family, myself, my country or my way of life. To each their own.

Well that's mighty progressive of you to expand your horizons on other religions.

I'm not aware of any Republican Scientologists. Most lefties usually associate Republicans with Christianity and usually not in terms of endearment. I'm not sure all leftists hate Christians, but I know many do.

I know John Travolta is a Scientologist, but I don't think he's Republican. I've always enjoyed his work. I don't know of anyone that's ever said he wasn't a nice guy. Let's see, there's Tom Cruise. He's not quite had all the cheese in his burrito the last year or so. But he's dating a girl young enough to be his daughter, so that might explain some. Who knows?

What other religions are you not fond of?

Nope, it's a fact, if you aren't a scientologist, they will not speak to you about it (they get thrown out if they do). If you'd really looked into it you'd know that. :/

    It's a cult, not a religion.

Like I say, the way you refuse to discuss the actual issues raised, and instead slag off the way the information has been presented is pretty stereotypical of how scientologists work. Just a coinsidence then?

True, reminds me of the way Muslims respond to questions regarding the Quran: "You won't understand it unless you read Arabic". So is Islam a cult then, too?

Mike, why not research before you open your loose mouth.

It is a key part of the cult that you are not allowed to talk to other peopl about it. Fact.

It's nothing to do with 'you won't understand', and everything to do with 'we don't want to tell you'.

Oh, we're not discussing the issues you've raised? Let's see, it started off with "here, debunk this." I can see how that might be interpreted as "refusing to discuss the actual issues raised." I mean, after all, you put so much time and effort into typing out "debunk this." I can see how you are disappointed! "Here's a video, it's my new issue. Watch it, research and debunk it." Pardon me for not devoting my life to your new issue!

So you are saying it's sort of like this?

And pretty much the whole thread, where loose change and those (including yourself) were thoroughly debunked. I guess someone would have to go back to see who put effort in and who didn't. You think?

Thank you for that altered reality, SEBasic!

Oh come on mate, you and I both know that it's difficult to watch something you disagree so much with.

Why do I need to retype everything for the sake of it? It's a waste of time.

There is a video. The facts are spelled out pretty clearly. Not one person has debunked one fact.

You can go back to the loose change vid (Which for the record I still agree 100% with) if you like, but here is another video, this time a presentation rather than a documentary.

Why not just prove the guy wrong?

And who are you suggesting has disputed that? What's your point?

That doesn't mean people can't read up about it. Obviously you've done exactly that, yet you accuse Mike and I of not being able to know, because they can't talk about it.

And you have nerve to ask someone "why not research before you open your loose mouth."

"Boo hoo, you can't talk rationale about issues raised." Yeah, right

    And your point is?

Here, I'll retype it for you: "here's a video, debunk it." Wouldn't want you to strain anything there :p

So you say. How do you know? What, because the video told you so?

Which makes a compelling argument I shouldn't even waste my time on you. So closed minded, that even after Mia tore you up, you still choose to believe in something you know is proven false. That says a lot, huh?

"here's a video, it's my new issue, spend hours of your time watching it, researching, then try to debunk it." Don't strain yourself with all that effort!

My hourly rate is $150.00 per hour. Do you have paypal?

Why charge if you know you can make a thousand bucks per debunked fact?

Surely that shows a lack of confidence in your abilities?

Was probably the molten steel, ya think?

Where did Mike say he talked to someone about Scientology? He said that what you were saying reminds him of another group.

And they say conspiracy theories don't have side effects

    I never said I could or couldn't.

I have to admit, my abilities do exceed: "here's a new video, it's my new issue. debunk it." Talk about straining the IQ there :D

I think there's a lot being shown here. I'm just not convinced you are aware of it ;)

Where did I dispute anything about scientology, Oliver? I've compared it to Islam. There are strong similarities between those two. Ask a Muslim about some of the hateful statements in the Quran, and the only answer will be "you need to know Arabic to be able to get into this discussion".

    Mike made an implication.

It's funny you know, you really like to get into the semantics of things don't you.

Either way, my only point is that there are a number of similarities between the way you approach an argument and the way a scientologist would.

"I don't want to listen... Nah nah nah nah... I'm right, you're wrong. But I won't go into why because it's not worth my while."

Are you saying you can't afford my fees?

Your effort: "here's a video, it's my new issue. Debunk it"

And you want me to put how much effort into a nutjob I've never heard of?

Pay up! My bid is 10 hours. $1,500 dollars for my time. I will watch the video, take notes, do the research and attempt to debunk something. If I do, I'll split the $1,000 per debunked fact (assuming the guy will pay) with you.

Are you confident enough in your new hero to take the challenge?

    Just that I think they're overpriced. :)

I also won't get any of that cash back, so really it's just a waste of money.

Well, you know how that pesky "truth" gets in the way. I prefer the truth. You're no so deep that you have to resort to lying, yet. Way to early to pull that out.

I'm sure you've spoken to many to know ;) Only you can know. Mike and I cannot.

Let me know if you change your mind. The offer is on the table. Unless you want to put some effort in for a change, and pick an issue from the video and debate it. Probably too much work though, eh?
