Does anyone use LookSmart PPC? I am wondering what the quality of their traffic is like.

I used the Looksmart Look Listings PPC service about 6 months ago.

I deposited 75 dollars into my account which was gone in under 6 hours. They said they delivered 1200 clicks to my website and I didn't see a sale or a sniff.

I also tried looksmart for about 6 months and could never find the clicks that they attributed to my site. I would have to say Looksmart is at the bottom of the list as far as PPC engines go.

Thanks for the replies. The rep that contacting me put together a nice enough proposal, but it sounds like they have a problem with click fraud.

I guess I should just stick with AdWords and YSM.

I think Adwords is alright... Looksmart is fixed at 0.15$ CPC but the quality traffic you get from them is not that exceptionnal..

I have to agree. I was bidding on credit card related terms and before their reporting tools synced up my money was already gone. I found the interface confusing and as I stated earlier if they actually did send the clicks they said they did then the traffic was useless.

I had a 3% conversion on Google and 5% on Overture with similiar ads and keywords... I thought I could get some cheaper traffic so as not to rely on the 2 big guns who's pricing is climbing as competition grows.

Looksmart is a case of "you get what you pay for" which in this case is garbage.

Sorry for the rant but I don't want to see anyone else lose their money on another non-working traffic provider.

If you are thinking of trying one of the smaller PPC providers I highly advise against it. Even Google and Overture have click fraud problems and they also have the best systems and actual traffic to their search portals to deliver impressions.

Where are you getting ad impressions from when using smaller PPC providers???
